AES-256-GCM encryption runs on your phone before any file moves. Your encryption keys never leave your device; not even Nimbus sees them.

Files live in a Telegram account you own and control. We have no server holding your data. Nothing to breach, nothing to seize, nothing to sell.

Every step either happens on your phone or in an account you already own. Nothing passes through infrastructure we control.

Sign in to Nimbus Drive

Create a Nimbus account with email or Google Sign-In (this stores only your subscription status and an encrypted metadata backup, never your files or keys). Then authenticate with your Telegram account. One-time setup, takes about 2 minutes.

Select and upload a file

Pick any file from your phone: photo, document, video, archive. The 500 MB limit applies to the free tier; Pro removes limits entirely.

Encrypted on your phone

Before the file moves anywhere, AES-256-GCM encryption runs entirely on your device. Your key is generated locally and stored in the Android Keystore, hardware-protected and never transmitted.

Lands in YOUR Telegram

The encrypted file is chunked and sent directly into a private channel in your own Telegram account. Not our server: your account, your channel, your data.

Access from any file manager

Nimbus Drive registers as a real storage location in Android. Open Samsung My Files, Google Files, or any file manager and "Nimbus Drive · Telegram" appears as a drive, not just an app.

Files are encrypted on your device using AES-256-GCM before upload. Your encryption keys never leave your phone.

We cannot read your files. We do not store them. They live in a Telegram account that belongs entirely to you.

We collect only what's necessary: anonymized crash reports, subscription state, and anonymized usage events. No file names, no file content, no Telegram credentials.

You can decrypt and export everything at any time, with or without the Nimbus Drive app. The recovery tool (including a fully manual, zero-API path) ships in V1.
