Terms of Service

By downloading or using Nimbus Drive, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms are between you and Nimbus Lab (“we,” “us,” “our”).

Nimbus Drive is an application that encrypts files on your device and stores them in storage accounts you own and control — starting with Telegram. We provide tooling; we do not provide storage. Your files are stored in your own accounts, not on Nimbus Lab’s infrastructure.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Nimbus account credentials and your Telegram account. You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

You must not use Nimbus Drive to store content that is illegal under applicable law, to facilitate fraud, or to violate Telegram’s Terms of Service. We reserve the right to terminate accounts found to be in material violation of these terms.

Free tier features are provided without charge, indefinitely, as described on our pricing page. Pro subscription fees are billed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play’s billing terms.

If your Pro subscription lapses, your files remain fully accessible in read mode. No files are deleted. Pro-gated features (unlimited file size, background sync, SAF write access) are suspended until the subscription is renewed.

Refunds are handled through Google Play in accordance with their standard refund policy.

Files are encrypted on your device before upload. Your encryption keys are generated and stored on your device and are never transmitted to Nimbus Lab. We cannot decrypt, access, or recover your files.

Your files belong to you. They reside in your Telegram account. Nimbus Lab makes no claim of ownership over any content you store using the app.

Nimbus Drive uses Telegram’s API to store files. Your use of Telegram is also governed by Telegram’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Changes to Telegram’s platform, terms, or API access are outside our control.

We are not responsible for actions taken by Telegram or any other third-party platform with respect to your account or data stored therein.

Nimbus Drive is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that files stored via Telegram will be permanently available. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

We strongly recommend using the recovery tool and understanding how to recover your files independently of the Nimbus Drive app.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nimbus Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Nimbus Drive, including any loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms. We will provide notice of material changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
